Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23193 p4p, 23299 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rico Salvacion was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 68 - 60 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 59 - 73 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Amiga tries for a takedown but Salvacion circles away easily
and Salvacion counters with a single leg into guard. Amiga didn't expect that. Salvacion controlling from the top position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga seems keen to control Salvacion's posture.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Amiga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga controls the position. Amiga working away. Salvacion is not content to let Amiga control the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping him busy. Salvacion is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga in side control, just content to control the action for now.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice takedown defense from Amiga. No joy for Salvacion on that attempt. Amiga appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Amiga feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Amiga changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Salvacion gets a double leg takedown into Amiga's guard. Amiga looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kugus Amiga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salvacion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Amiga is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Salvacion controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Salvacion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Salvacion preventing the sweep. Amiga not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga being controlled here, momentarily.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga is adopting a defensive guard.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Salvacion shoots in and gets a takedown into Amiga's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Amiga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Amiga misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Salvacion dives in and grabs Amiga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes down on Salvacion's head and hops out. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion fails with the takedown. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga dives in and grabs Salvacion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes down on Amiga's head and hops out. Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Amiga shoots in for a double leg but Salvacion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Salvacion throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion shoots in and drives through. Amiga sprawls well. Amiga misses with an attempted mid kick.
Salvacion counters with a body kick.
Salvacion gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Amiga in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga's corner is telling him to maintain position. Amiga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Salvacion has Amiga pulled in close to control his posture.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga controlling from the top position.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion stuffs the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Kugus Amiga showed his dominance in that final round. I think Amiga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
