Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 23454 p4p, 23358 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 47 - 85 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 65 - 59 - 14, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A lazy body kick from Sapi and Kiang counters with a nice body kick.
Kiang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sapi's guard. Sapi trying to control the position.
Sapi managing to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiang engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sapi looking to control but Kiang passes into half guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Sapi with a lazy takedown attempt and Kiang counters with a slapping leg kick. Sapi shoots in for a double leg but Kiang sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kiang went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sapi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kiang is fending him off so far but Sapi persists. Nope, Kiang circles away and we're back to standing. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Sapi goes for a double leg but Kiang avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kiang continues to drive forward.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kiang counters with a nice body kick.
Kiang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sapi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sapi seems a little lost for a moment, as Kiang dominates the positioning. Kiang's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Further stalling from Kiang.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi tries to improve position but can't. Kiang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sapi keeps working. Sapi being controlled for a moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Yawa Kiang dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Kiang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kiang shoots in and drives through. Sapi sprawls well. Sapi thinks about the counter body kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sapi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi is staying tight to Kiang's torso, preventing him from escaping.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang is looking to reverse the position. Sapi taking a breather here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kiang struggling a bit here. Kiang seems a little lost for a moment, as Sapi dominates the positioning.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sapi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kiang keeps working.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sapi with a poor takedown and Kiang counters with a body kick that stops Sapi in his tracks momentarily. Sapi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kiang sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. It appears Kiang was looking to counter with a kick there. Kiang shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sapi defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yawa Kiang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sapi. Kiang appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Kiang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sapi tries to avoid it but Kiang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sapi to the ground. Sapi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kiang blocks it well.
Kiang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiang is trying to control the action in half guard but Sapi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sapi is trying to control but can't.
Kiang is controlling the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi tries to get to full guard but Kiang has control of the leg. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Wala Sapi will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Kiang dives in and grabs Sapi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes down on Kiang's head and hops out. Sapi fails with the takedown and Kiang counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kiang gets caught napping as Sapi dives in and scores a takedown. Kiang manages to retain guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang looking to control.
Kiang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sapi can do to turn this around? Sapi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang is pulling down on Sapi's head. It's preventing any offense from Sapi, at least for the moment. Sapi sitting in guard here, content to control. Yawa Kiang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kiang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sapi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A slapping body kick lands there for Sapi.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sapi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kiang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sapi trying to control the action but Kiang is working from the bottom. Kiang is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Sapi stalls from top position. Let's hope that Sapi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang sneaks back into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sapi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
