Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Dong (ranked 4170 p4p, 25831 weight class) and Reilly Villegas (ranked 409 p4p, 497 weight class). Reilly Villegas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reilly Villegas! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villegas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
 It looks like Reilly Villegas has been cut. Dong cracks Villegas with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Dong lands an overhand right. King Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Villegas avoids a punch combination nicely.

Villegas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Villegas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dong has Villegas pulled in close to control his posture. Dong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dong tries to get out of the position. Villegas lands a couple of elbows. Villegas wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Dong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Villegas on the ground.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dong is adopting a defensive guard. Dong continues to stall.
Villegas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Villegas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dong is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Villegas stands and throws Dong's legs to the side, diving into side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Villegas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Villegas scores with punches from side control. You can see the frustration on Dong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dong tries to improve position but can't. Villegas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

 The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Villegas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Villegas has control of an arm but Dong manages to advance to Villegas's back! Dong is hanging on to Villegas's back as he tries to escape.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dong gets his hands free as Villegas looks to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dong has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Villegas's body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dong not allowing Villegas to control his hands. You can see the frustration on Villegas's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round but I would say that King Dong will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Reilly Villegas's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dong looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dong wants to stand and escape but Villegas is having none of it. Villegas wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Villegas is in close to Dong's body, working some short punches and elbows.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Villegas with a flurry of punches that miss. Dong is pulling down on Villegas's head. It's preventing any offense from Villegas, at least for the moment. Villegas wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dong works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. King Dong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dong connects with a body shot that sends Villegas's belly button to the back. Dong steps in with a hook that catches Villegas right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Dong follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Villegas looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). King Dong!
