Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Macintye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Goldberg Theme. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyoto Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Devon Macintye!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macintye steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Macintye misses with a jab, cross combination.
Devon Macintye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macintye is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Macintye lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Macintye thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Lyoto Silva has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Macintye looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Macintye persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Macintye doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Silva checks a leg kick nicely.
Silva connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Macintye momentarily.
It looks like Devon Macintye has been cut.
Macintye swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Macintye throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
Macintye displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Macintye on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Macintye throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Donk. Silva catches Macintye right on the button with a cross.
Macintye scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Silva.
That has opened up Devon Macintye's cut even more.
Macintye falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Macintye looks gassed!
Silva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The cut above Devon Macintye's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Macintye walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Silva connects with a stiff jab that staggers Macintye - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lyoto Silva!
