Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Haley (ranked 2371 p4p, 2835 weight class) and Buzz Chase (ranked 258 p4p, 296 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley looks to throw the jab but Chase is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chase! But no joy.
Chase closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haley did well to prevent Chase getting side control.
Haley wants to improve his position but Chase is controlling well.
Haley keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Haley tries to roll over but Chase keeps him under control.

Haley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chase has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Haley has managed to get both his arms back between Chase's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Stephen Haley will probably get the nod.

Chase throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haley takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Haley throws out a loose jab but Chase uses good head movement to avoid it.
A countering left hand to the body from Chase misses.
Chase lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Haley at a distance.
Haley throws a right and a left that Chase avoids nicely.
Chase drops his hands momentarily and Haley takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice defenses there by Chase.
Haley drops Chase with a naaaaasty hook - Chase is in real trouble here! Haley dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephen Haley!
