Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eddie Kessler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen is looking to clinch but Kessler is avoiding it.
Hansen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kessler can pounce on him.
Hansen drives through and clinches with Kessler against the cage.
Hansen looking to stall.
Hansen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kessler blocks it with crossed arms.
Kessler manages to break the clinch.
Kessler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hansen as he avoids it easily.
Hansen moves out of range of the body kick from Kessler.
Kessler pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hansen is out of range and Kessler settles back down.
Hansen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kessler backs up against the cage.
Kessler wants to slow Hansen down by chopping away at his legs.
Hansen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kessler throws a push kick but Hansen slaps the foot to one side.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kessler, right into the meat.
Hansen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hansen moves out of range of the body kick from Kessler.
Eddie Kessler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hansen misses with a double jab.
Kessler lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hansen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kessler can pounce on him.
Kessler goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kessler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hansen sprawls well initially but Kessler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kessler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hansen's head.
Hansen is looking to improve his position.
Kessler trying to control from half guard but Hansen is working away.
Kessler not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kessler has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kessler thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Hansen in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Kessler punching from mount but Hansen doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Kessler landing strikes from the mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kessler wants to control the pace but Hansen is squirming around nicely.
Kessler prevents Hansen from getting the reversal.
Hansen looks gassed!
Kessler fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kessler working for a guillotine from mount but Hansen is in no mood to give up.
Kessler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hansen is looking to escape.
Kessler content just to control the position here.

Poor strikes thrown by Kessler there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kessler lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kessler quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Kessler but it's paid off an Hansen is forced to tap! Nice work by Kessler.
