Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Morah (ranked 2370 p4p, 24695 weight class) and Roderick Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardner has chosen Why Can't We Be Friends? as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonah Morah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Roderick Gardner! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morah tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gardner is in Morah's guard.
Gardner stands and steps away. Morah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Morah fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morah misses with a few strikes there.
Gardner tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. No joy there for Morah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Morah looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morah wants to pass to mount but Gardner is defending the position. Morah throwing shots but Gardner is blocking nicely. Gardner looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gardner keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Gardner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Morah. Gardner is trying to get back to full guard.
Morah is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gardner has managed to free his arm - good work. Morah not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Morah missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Morah is trying to control. Gardner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Morah is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gardner is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gardner is looking to improve his position.
Morah throwing shots but Gardner is blocking nicely. Gardner tries to roll over but Morah keeps him under control. Gardner is pressing down on Morah's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gardner wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gardner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gardner tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gardner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Morah slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Morah is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Morah is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Punchin N\' Chockin that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Morah working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gardner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gardner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Morah is breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gardner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gardner trying to control the position from guard on top but Morah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morah is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Morah had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gardner defends it easily. Morah is trying to keep Gardner in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Morah is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gardner defends well. Morah keeping moving, preventing Gardner from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jonah Morah dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gardner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jonah Morah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gardner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morah with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Gardner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morah defends it well. Morah works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morah is trying to control the position but Gardner postures up. Morah is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gardner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Morah looking for a triangle here. Gardner is fighting it but it looks tight! Morah pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gardner is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jonah Morah! Jonah Morah gave a mention to Tokzik Dope L.A. in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales). Roderick Gardner spoke after the fight, saying 'it's all LIES!!!!! LIES!!!!!! like some guy i know who's always claiming he's creating original art, but it's all LIES!!!!'.
