The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Farooq.
Farooq shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Roberts's guard.
Our spies down at at Rising Sun Training inform us that Roberts has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Roberts tries to buck Farooq off but Farooq is having none of it.

Farooq is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Roberts is trying to escape and Farooq transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Roberts is forced to tap! Nice work there by Farooq! Very nice indeed!
