Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Umar Khattab (ranked 2493 p4p, 3625 weight class) and Wayne Dotson (ranked 273 p4p, 358 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dotson's choice of entrance music: White Girl - Shy Glizzy. Wayne Dotson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dotson tries to bum rush Khattab with a series of wild strikes but Khattab uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dotson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Khattab back to the cage. Dotson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Khattab ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dotson moves away.
Dotson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khattab.
Khattab rushes Dotson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Khattab tries for a takedown but Dotson manages to get underhooks.
Khattab definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khattab turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Khattab manages to end up in side control.
