Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimche Rajcevski (ranked 809 p4p, 1592 weight class) and Lingo Rex (ranked 108 p4p, 193 weight class). Dimche Rajcevski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dimche Rajcevski! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Lingo Rex! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rajcevski scores with a leg kick.
Rajcevski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rex misses with a kick to the body.
Rex chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rajcevski can pounce on him.

Rex has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rex throws a body shot but no joy. Rajcevski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rex swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rex misses with an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rajcevski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rex.

Rex throws an overhand right that lands on Rajcevski's shoulder, as Rajcevski tries to avoid the shot. A left lands for Rajcevski. Rex has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rajcevski. Rajcevski tries to close the distance and clinch but Rex swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rex throws a counter combo. Rex avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Rajcevski finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Rex throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rajcevski sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rajcevski moves out of range of the leg kick from Rex. Rex misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rex throws a right and a left that Rajcevski avoids nicely. Rajcevski slips under a jab. Rex misses with a wild body shot. Rajcevski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rex paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rex swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rajcevski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A clash of legs there as Rex blocks the low kick. Rex appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Rex throws a big shot that misses. Nice body kick there by Rajcevski.
Rajcevski closes the distance and pushes Rex back into the cage. Rajcevski lands with a right to the head. Rajcevski blocks a punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rex tries to stand but Rajcevski is controlling from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Dimche Rajcevski will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rex lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rajcevski backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rajcevski swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rajcevski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rajcevski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rajcevski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rex is working away from the top position though. Rajcevski wants to improve his position but Rex is controlling well.

Rajcevski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rex is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rajcevski. Dimche Rajcevski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rex trying to control the position from guard on top but Rajcevski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It connects and Rex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rajcevski looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Rajcevski avoids the body shot from Rex.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rex walks away with a smile on his face. Rajcevski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd cheers as Rajcevski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rex doesn't seem phased though. Lingo Rex seems to be getting the better of the standup. Rex misses with a low kick. Rajcevski checks a leg kick. Rex tries to work over Rajcevski's front leg with a kick but Rajcevski checks it. Rajcevski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rex sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rex's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Rex connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rajcevski's hands. A left lands for Rex. Rajcevski slips a straight right by Rex. Rex misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Rajcevski lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A low kick from Rajcevski is predictable there and Rex counters with a stiff right hand. Rajcevski with the inside leg kick. Rex throws a nice looking combination but Rajcevski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rajcevski lands a nice shot that snaps Rex's head back.

Rajcevski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A lazy left from Rajcevski finds it's target. Rex is still on wobbly legs! Can Rajcevski finish him? Rex throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
