Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Pierre (ranked 22001 p4p, 3277 weight class) and Alex Silva (ranked 486 p4p, 345 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Silva wants to clinch up but Pierre keeps it at a distance.
Pierre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva tries to counter with a clinch but Pierre shakes him off and moves away.
Pierre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Pierre .
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pierre swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pierre throws a lazy head kick
and Silva holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pierre is looking to break free of the clinch but Silva has double underhooks.
Pierre is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pierre breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Pierre , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Alex Silva has been cut.
Silva tries to clinch but Pierre moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva staying out of range there.
Silva takes the fight into the clinch.
Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pierre uses from the top position.
Silva has his hands on Pierre 's head, controlling the position.
Pierre is posturing up here but Silva has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pierre tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pierre has to tap! Slick submission there by Silva!
