Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23394 p4p, 23410 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 52 - 71 - 15, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 73 - 60 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buut doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mibangon counters with a solid body kick.
Mibangon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buut manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Mibangon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buut managing to control the position.

Buut wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Buut is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mibangon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Buut shoots in but Mibangon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mibangon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Buut fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mibangon to the ground. Buut is now in Mibangon's guard.
Buut not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buut accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mibangon pulls Buut in close to prevent any damage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

And Buut responds with a good body kick, but Mibangon manages to step out the way in time.
Buut shoots in for a takedown but Mibangon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mibangon shoots in and drives through. Buut sprawls well.

Buut tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mibangon defends well and Buut ends up having to push Mibangon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mibangon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buut sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mibangon somewhat.
Buut now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Buut looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mibangon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mibangon has one foot on Buut's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Buut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mibangon napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mibangon tries to buck Buut off but Buut is having none of it.
Buut is trying to ground and pound but Mibangon uses the momentary lack of control by Buut to regain half guard.
Mibangon flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Mibangon is looking to control Buut's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mibangon avoid being mounted?
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Mibangon is controlling Buut's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
