Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 5403 p4p, 22791 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 142 - 32 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 148 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into Fighter B's guard.
Fighter A controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fighter A postures up in Fighter B's guard and throws a big left but Fighter B blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter A controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fighter B is looking to take a break and control but Fighter A is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B passes into side.
Fighter A is looking to reverse the position.
Fighter A struggling a bit here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A tries to bench press Fighter B off him but Fighter B keeps the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt.
Fighter A went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fighter A scores with a takedown into Fighter B's guard.
Fighter A slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter B pulls Fighter A in to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fighter A displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter B.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Fighter A doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fighter B counters with a nice body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter A tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter B keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter A manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fighter A decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fighter B gets back to full guard.
Fighter A slips nicely into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A controlling the action here.
Fighter B has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fighter A is working away from the top position though.
Fighter A thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fighter A with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Fighter B is trying to control but can't.
Fighter A not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fighter B bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter B trying to control the action but Fighter A is working from the bottom.
Fighter A holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sss Sss will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Fighter B is trying to control Fighter A's posture but Fighter A avoids it.

Fighter B managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fighter A.
Fighter B can't do much from the bottom here.
Fighter B is looking to reverse the position.
Fighter A controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fighter A instigates a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fighter A is working for takedown but Fighter B is calmly controlling the position for now.

Fighter A wants the takedown. Fighter B is fighting it off but Fighter A persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fighter B's guard against the cage.
Fighter A looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fighter B looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fighter A puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fighter B knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Fighter B is trying to control but Fighter A manages to pass to mount!
Fighter A controlling his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fighter B tries to hold on but Fighter A pushes him away.
Fighter B is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Fighter A is staying active.
Fighter A tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fighter B controls the position.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sss Sss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Fighter B tries to hold on but Fighter A pushes him away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sss Sss showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
