The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Phelps. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Johnson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Phelps.
Phelps throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phelps off to one side.
