Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Banton (ranked 24563 p4p, 4622 weight class) and Slade Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Banton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Slade Sutton!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutton misses with a looping left.
Banton appears to be looking for a big counter.
Nice straight punches there by Sutton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sutton.
Banton lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Banton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sutton can pounce on him.
Banton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sutton on the side of the head.

and Banton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Banton.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Banton will probably get the nod.

It looked like Banton was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sutton.

A less than humble Jimmy Banton misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
