Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boniface Picard (ranked 3220 p4p, 4301 weight class) and Ibou Sanneh (ranked 343 p4p, 421 weight class). Picard comes to the cage accompanied by A Different World (feat. Corey Taylor). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ibou Sanneh!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanneh misses with a jab, cross combination.
Picard rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sanneh holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Picard's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Picard looks to throw the jab but Sanneh is out of range.

The fighters circling - Picard throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Picard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sanneh.

Picard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Picard keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sanneh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Picard is fending him off so far but Sanneh persists. Nope, Picard circles away and we're back to standing.

Boniface Picard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Picard throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sanneh sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sanneh drops his hands momentarily and Picard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sanneh shoots in for a takedown but Picard shows good takedown defense.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanneh is defended easily by Picard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sanneh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Picard.
The fighters circle momentarily. Picard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Picard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sanneh's head backwards.
Sanneh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sanneh slips a jab from Picard.

Picard gets tackled into the cage by Sanneh. Sanneh maintains the clinch.
Picard wants to break free but Sanneh has control.
Sanneh keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Picard's efforts to push away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanneh is trying to pull guard but Picard turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Sanneh's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Sanneh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Picard looks to land a left hand but Sanneh moved out of range nicely.
Picard paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ibou Sanneh's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Picard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ibou Sanneh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
