Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lee Ewing (ranked 2629 p4p, 4202 weight class) and Aleksader Ramos (ranked 216 p4p, 314 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Ramos.
Ewing dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ewing lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ramos backs up against the cage.
It looks like Aleksader Ramos has been cut.
Nice shot lands for Ewing.
Ewing has Ramos up against the cage in a clinch.
Ramos breaks the clinch.
Ewing throws a series of punches but Ramos moves out of range.
Ramos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ewing is out of range.
Ewing closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ewing clinches with his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ramos manages to break the clinch.
Ewing has Ramos up against the cage in a clinch.
Ramos comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ewing is trying to break the clinch but Ramos is controlling him.
Ewing really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ramos is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ramos pulls guard successfully.
Ewing avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ewing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ramos on the ground.

Ramos throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ewing tries to stand but Ramos is controlling from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ramos has his foot on Ewing's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ewing works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ewing got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ewing has managed to get both his arms back between Ramos's legs - danger averted.
Ramos is looking to cinch up a triangle. Ewing throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ramos's body to avoid the submission. Ramos has instead reached around Ewing's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ramos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Aleksader Ramos!
