Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodger McGregor (ranked 3283 p4p, 4764 weight class) and Ricardo Scott (ranked 252 p4p, 313 weight class). Rodger McGregor had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rodger McGregor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Scott!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott walks into a stiff left hand from McGregor.
Sloppy strikes from McGregor. Those never looked like landing.
A low kick lands for McGregor.
Scott is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McGregor sizes up Scott with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McGregor lands a jab to the head.
McGregor connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Scott covering up! McGregor comes in with a big uppercut and Scott goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rodger McGregor!
