Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Beltran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Beamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beltran comes into the arena with Big Poppa blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beamer slips a jab and a cross from Beltran.

Beltran stalks Beamer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Beamer's face. Beamer staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Donk. Beamer catches Beltran right on the button with a cross.
Beltran throws an overhand right that lands on Beamer's shoulder, as Beamer tries to avoid the shot.
Beamer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Beltran to score with a decent uppercut.


That has opened up Jim Beamer's cut even more.
Beltran tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beamer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beltran somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Beltran. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Beltran throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Beamer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Beltran takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Beltran throws a combination that misses
and Beamer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beamer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Beltran has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Beltran and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Max Beltran.
