Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hector Velazquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elias Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velazquez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Velazquez tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzalez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gonzalez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Hector Velazquez has been cut.
Gonzalez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Gonzalez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Velazquez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Velazquez pushes off an throws an elbow but Gonzalez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Velazquez tries to work over Gonzalez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Gonzalez is looking for a takedown.
Gonzalez lands an elbow just above Velazquez 's eye.
Velazquez comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Gonzalez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Velazquez fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hector Velazquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elias Gonzalez.

Good leg kick by Velazquez.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velazquez wants to clinch up but Gonzalez keeps it at a distance.
Velazquez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gonzalez. That did some damage!
Velazquez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Velazquez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Velazquez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gonzalez finds it's way round the side to connect with Velazquez's head.
Velazquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Velazquez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gonzalez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gonzalez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Velazquez.
Velazquez is rocked!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Gonzalez!
Oh Velazquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Velazquez wants to clinch up but Gonzalez keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Velazquez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gonzalez.
Velazquez looks to land a left hand but Gonzalez moved out of range nicely.
Gonzalez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Velazquez throws out the jab.
Gonzalez fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Velazquez to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Velazquez looks to clinch but Gonzalez throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Velazquez taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
