The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fremed pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Volkov thinks about countering with a body kick.
Fremed looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fremed takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Volkov lands a big uppercut and Fremed crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fremed looks OK. Volkov waves Fremed back to his feet!
Fremed is rocked!
It looks like Josh Fremed has been cut.
Volkov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fremed is still on wobbly legs! Can Volkov finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fremed has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Volkov.
Volkov lands an uppercut, right on the button! Fremed tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
