Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Douglas Weaver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Claude Baudelaire!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baudelaire shoots in for a takedown but Weaver shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fighters circling - Weaver throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Weaver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Baudelaire drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Weaver defends it well.
Baudelaire's coach down at Cozad MMA London was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Baudelaire's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Weaver gets caught napping as Baudelaire dives in and scores a takedown. Weaver manages to retain guard.
Baudelaire tries to free his leg and advance position but Weaver is retaining full guard.
Baudelaire pushing down on Weaver's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baudelaire is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Weaver is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
