Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Back Up (ranked 4219 p4p, 4204 weight class) and Bud Lawrence (ranked 400 p4p, 395 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bud Lawrence!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence looks to throw the jab but Up is out of range.
Up seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Up wants to clinch.
Lawrence looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A big left from Lawrence misses.
Up was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
A slow jab from Lawrence misses its intended target.
Lawrence's jab looks to have found its range, popping Up under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawrence throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Up on the side of the head.
Up tries to close the distance and clinch but Lawrence swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Up uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lawrence.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Lawrence in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Lawrence might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

A nice side step and Lawrence releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Up moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Up is looking to clinch but Lawrence is avoiding it.
Bud Lawrence seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lawrence wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lawrence throws a monster overhand right that drops Up! Lawrence follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
