Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Usman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Baker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker feints and as Usman raises his hands in defense, Baker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Usman keeping moving, preventing Baker from controlling successfully.
Usman pulls Baker in to control the position.
Baker wants to control from the top but Usman keeps moving.
Usman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Baker controls the pace.

Usman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Baker eats them both and turns towards Usman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Baker lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Baker avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Usman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baker tries to counter with a clinch but Usman shakes him off and moves away.
Usman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

and Usman counters with a stiff right hand.
Baker shoots in for a double leg but Usman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
George Usman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Baker.
Baker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Usman sprawls well. Usman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baker gets slowly back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Baker shoots in but Usman avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Baker shoots in looking for a takedown. Usman tries to sprawl out of it but Baker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Usman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Usman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Baker is rocked!
Usman circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Baker tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Usman wins by KO!

In his post fight interview, George Usman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
