Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haakon Ragnarsson (ranked 3393 p4p, 2484 weight class) and Bastiaan De Vries (ranked 109 p4p, 89 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bastiaan De Vries!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and De Vries counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Haakon Ragnarsson has been cut.
Ragnarsson looks to land a combination but De Vries avoids it well.
Ragnarsson's corner calls for a 1-2. Ragnarsson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
De Vries looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ragnarsson throws a poor cross that misses
and De Vries counters with a nice body shot.
De Vries misses with a hook.
Ragnarsson scores with a nice strike.
Ragnarsson swings for the body but De Vries moves out of range.
De Vries looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ragnarsson stuns De Vries with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
De Vries avoids the body shot from Ragnarsson.
De Vries swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ragnarsson tests De Vries's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ragnarsson drives through and clinches with De Vries against the cage.
De Vries tries to break free but Ragnarsson pushes him back against the cage.
De Vries blocks an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ragnarsson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. De Vries smiles and moves away.
De Vries throws a hook but Ragnarsson blocks it.
A big right from Ragnarsson misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ragnarsson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck De Vries on the side of the head.
Ragnarsson closes the distance looking to clinch
and De Vries counters with a huge left! Ragnarsson is in big trouble! He's backing up but De Vries isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Ragnarsson from any more damage. A dominating finish by De Vries!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bastiaan De Vries!
