The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin throws a chopping leg kick but Bryant manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Austin thumps Bryant with a low kick.
Austin misses with a body kick.
A head kick misses from Austin.
Nice takedown defense from Austin. No joy for Bryant on that attempt.
Austin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bryant shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Austin sprawls well. Austin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bryant gets slowly back to his feet.
Bryant avoids a kick to the body.
Austin throws a push kick but Bryant slaps the foot to one side.

Bryant gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Austin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Austin tries to bum rush Bryant with a series of wild strikes but Bryant uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bryant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Austin tries to avoid it but Bryant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Austin to the ground. Austin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bryant. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bryant shoots in and bounces Austin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bryant working for a triangle but Austin defends it easily.
Austin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bryant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Austin wants to get up but he can't break Bryant's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bryant controls Austin momentarily but Austin frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin leaves Bryant with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Austin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Austin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bryant controls the pace.

Austin stands and steps away. Bryant gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andre Bryant will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Austin pushes Bryant off looking to stand but Bryant dives back in and keeps control.

Bryant stalling away here and it's allowed Austin to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Austin throws a nice looking combination but Bryant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bryant shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Austin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Austin wants to get back to his feet but Bryant drags him back down.
