The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatum swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Tatum throws a right hand that Kane ducks under and follows up with a left that Kane also avoids with ease. Kane has a takedown stuffed. Tatum throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tatum will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kane's corner calls for a 1-2. Kane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Dredick Tatum has been cut. Tatum lands a head shot. Tatum throws a right and a left that both miss. Tatum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kane moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tatum misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tatum. Kane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tatum is breathing heavily. Tatum can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kane controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. I looks like Kane might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Kane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tatum is keeping the position for now. Kane's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kane stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tatum throws a right and a left that Kane avoids nicely. Kane scores with a takedown into Tatum's guard. Kane gets to his feet. Tatum looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kane shoots in and bounces Tatum off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kane is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane drops back looking for a leg! Tatum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tatum manages to kick Kane off! Kane jumps back into Tatum's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tatum trying to keep a closed guard but Kane is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kane is pushing down on Tatum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tatum is fighting to maintain full guard but Kane has managed to sneak the leg through. Kane is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kane passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tatum! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tatum looks to land a combination but Kane avoids it well. A punch combination from Tatum misses. Kane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tatum did well to prevent Kane getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tatum taking some punishment here, with Kane in his half guard. Kane slows the pace down in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane seems to be working for a kimura but Tatum defends the submission attempt. Kane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tatum is just riding it out for now. Kane eventually gives up the hold. Kane takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tatum defends it well. Kane not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kane trying to control from half guard but Tatum is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane stops Tatum from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kane throwing shots but Tatum is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tatum is in trouble now - Kane has advanced to mount! Kane is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Tatum lands with a straight right. Kane didn't see that one coming. Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tatum misses with a looping left. Kane scores a takedown into full mount! Kane sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dredick Tatum's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Kane wants to finish this one by submission but Tatum is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kane. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatum tries to hold on but Kane pushes him away. Kane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kane looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kane can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tatum is looking to escape. Tatum wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kane.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane looking for a guillotine from mount but Tatum is having none of it. Kane goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tatum is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tatum should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kane has tightened it up now! Tatum should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
