Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23362 p4p, 23378 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 52 - 71 - 16, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 73 - 60 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mibangon enables Buut to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mibangon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mibangon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Buut off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Mibangon is looking to clinch.
Buut closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Buut moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Mibangon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Buut trying to control the position but Mibangon is working away. Mibangon seems a little lost for a moment, as Buut dominates the positioning. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buut trying to control the action but Mibangon is working from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buut throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown but Buut shows good takedown defense. And Buut responds with a good body kick, but Mibangon manages to step out the way in time.
Mibangon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mibangon controlling the pace.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut has his hands clasped together around Mibangon's back. He's all about the action. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mibangon in particular looking to stall. Buut trying to control but Mibangon postures up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buut is doing well to control the position and prevent Mibangon from advancing to side control. Mibangon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mibangon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buut but Buut pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mibangon moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromBuut. Buut doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mibangon counters with a nice leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mibangon shoots in and bounces Buut off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mibangon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon preventing the sweep. Mibangon is stalling in the full guard. Mibangon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Buut pulls Mibangon in to control the position.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Buut feints and as Mibangon raises his hands in defense, Buut changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Buut is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mibangon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Buut is one step ahead there. Buut slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mibangon is pulling down on Buut's head to control his posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon working a defensive guard here.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Mibangon working a defensive guard here.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut fails with a takedown attempt. Mibangon throws a quick counter head kick but Buut was just out of range.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon fails to land the takedown. Buut replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well. Buut throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mibangon's waist but Mibangon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buut off to one side. Mibangon thinks about countering with a head kick. Buut keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Buut thinks about the counter body kick.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buut misses with a takedown attempt
and Mibangon counters by moving into the clinch. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.
Mibangon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Walay Buut has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Buut tries to sprawl but Mibangon drives through with a takedown into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut is trying to get back to full guard. Buut punching from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Minatay Mibangon. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mibangon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
