Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Qwerty (ranked 2234 p4p, 2617 weight class) and Rufus Dugout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rufus Dugout will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Qwerty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Dugout! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick lands for Qwerty.
Dugout takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Qwerty fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dugout has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Dugout scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
 It looks like Phil Qwerty has been cut. Dugout rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Qwerty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Qwerty looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dugout ducks under a wild hook from Qwerty. Qwerty avoids the head kick by Dugout.
Qwerty lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Nice cross by Dugout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dugout throws a leg kick but Qwerty sees it coming and checks it nicely. Dugout tries to land a body kick and Qwerty counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dugout throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Qwerty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dugout. Dugout throws a chopping leg kick but Qwerty manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Qwerty scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Dugout throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Qwerty lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dugout's sensitive parts. Dugout looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Qwerty looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Qwerty connects with a single shot there. Qwerty scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Qwerty.
Dugout fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Qwerty looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Qwerty takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dugout falls off balance throwing a combination
and Qwerty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A big left from Qwerty misses. Dugout lands a nice hook to Qwerty's body. Qwerty takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A good leg kick by Dugout. Qwerty blocks a head kick by Dugout.
Qwerty with the inside leg kick. Dugout misses with a shot to the body and Qwerty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dugout throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dugout throws out a loose jab but Qwerty uses good head movement to avoid it. Rufus Dugout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dugout has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Qwerty. Dugout throws a head kick that misses. Dugout takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Dugout misses. Dugout takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Qwerty counters with a lovely straight right hand! Qwerty lands with an uppercut that bounces Dugout off the cage and back into range. Dugout throws a hook to the side of Qwerty's head but Qwerty sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dugout cracks a nice hook into Qwerty's ribs. Dugout doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A head kick by Dugout misses and Qwerty counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A head kick by Dugout misses and Qwerty counters with a straight right hand.
 Dugout is rocked! Dugout looks winded! Qwerty lunges at Dugout with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dugout's hand. Dugout is still on wobbly legs! Can Qwerty finish him? Dugout drops his hands momentarily. Qwerty doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Dugout staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Dugout doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phil Qwerty! Phil Qwerty decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
