Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Wood (ranked 25864 p4p, 4675 weight class) and Henry Haze (ranked 491 p4p, 422 weight class). Morgan Wood has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Morgan Wood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henry Haze! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haze blocks a jab. As Wood backs off Haze throws a huge counter combo but Wood manages to avoid it all. Wood misses with a straight left. Haze throws a counter combo. Haze needs to keep his hands up - Wood had a free shot at his head there. Haze lands a two punch combo.
 It looks like Morgan Wood has been cut. Haze misses with a wild combination.
Wood thows a left - swing and a miss! Wood ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wood looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wood has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The crowd are loving this. Wood has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Haze stands up over Wood, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Haze wants to control from the top but Wood keeps moving. Wood not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Haze looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wood is one step ahead there. Wood controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Haze is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Henry Haze has got the better of the ground game so far.  The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wood throws a looping overhand right but Haze ducks down to avoid it. Haze uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wood.

Haze postures up and lands a big shot to Wood's brow. Haze lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wood is pulling down on Haze's head. It's preventing any offense from Haze, at least for the moment. This is a sustained period of stalling by Wood. Haze working some strikes from top position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wood bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haze's guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. and Haze counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wood tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Haze was well out of range. Poor timing from Wood. And Haze tries to counter it with a takedown but Wood pushes his down on his head and steps out. Haze circles away from the clinch attempt and Haze counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wood looks to clinch and Haze counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wood thinking.
