Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Challinor (ranked 2299 p4p, 2889 weight class) and Henry Garcia (ranked 248 p4p, 310 weight class). Challinor comes to the cage accompanied by Down Under. Henry Garcia is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Challinor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garcia but Garcia pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Challinor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Garcia for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Garcia lands with a kick to the temple. Challinor shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Challinor is taking a breather. Garcia says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Challinor looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Garcia with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Challinor in particular looking to stall.

Challinor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Challinor throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Challinor is nestled in close to Garcia, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Challinor is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Challinor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Garcia defends it well.

Challinor has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Challinor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
