Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alijah Ford (ranked 4470 p4p, 4779 weight class) and Mush Kirkez (ranked 419 p4p, 432 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alijah Ford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mush Kirkez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kirkez.
Kirkez shoots in and gets a takedown into Ford's guard.
Ford is trying to control the position but Kirkez postures up.

Ford working a defensive guard but Kirkez passes into half guard.

Kirkez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ford!
Kirkez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ford wants to control but Kirkez is having none of it.
Ford is looking to improve his position but Kirkez isn't that keen on the idea.
Ford is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Punchin N\' Chockin, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Ford has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Kirkez is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ford defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Kirkez has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Ford's body.

Kirkez is looking to control Ford but Ford is wriggling around and keeping busy.

It looks like Mush Kirkez has been cut.
Ford throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kirkez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kirkez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ford circles away.

Ford swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kirkez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kirkez goes for a double leg but Ford avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ford continues to drive forward.
Kirkez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ford sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ford is looking for a counter combo.
Alijah Ford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mush Kirkez.

Kirkez shoots for a double leg takedown but Ford sprawls well. He's pushed Kirkez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ford tries to grapple but his opponent circles
so Kirkez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ford pushes Kirkez off and scrambles back to his feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ford.

Ford doesn't manage to clinch there - Kirkez circles away.
Ford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kirkez avoids the head kick by Ford.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ford throws a one two combo.
Ford leaves Kirkez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ford changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Ford lands with a kick to the temple. Kirkez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kirkez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kirkez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kirkez gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Kirkez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ford tries to avoid it but Kirkez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ford to the ground. Ford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ford paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Good leg kick by Ford.
Alijah Ford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kirkez throws a head kick that misses.
Ford connects with a jab.
Ford throws a hook but Kirkez blocks it.

Ford closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kirkez looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kirkez is on top in guard.

Ford stalks Kirkez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kirkez's face. Kirkez staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ford closes the distance and pushes Kirkez back into the cage.
Kirkez prevents a body shot from Ford.
Ford is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Ford escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ford misses with a hook. Kirkez ducked under it nicely.
Kirkez is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Kirkez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ford to the ground. Kirkez is now in Ford's guard.
Kirkez is standing up over Ford. Ford looks to escape but Kirkez dives into side control.
Ford seems a little lost for a moment, as Kirkez dominates the positioning.
Kirkez cracks Ford with a big right hand but Ford just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
You can see the frustration on Ford's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kirkez stands up.
Kirkez instigates a clinch.

Kirkez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ford is defending well for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kirkez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ford prevents it.
Ford throws a head punch that misses.
Kirkez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ford is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kirkez stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Kirkez is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ford is keeping busy.
Ford tries to throw a body punch but Kirkez avoids it by throwing Ford back against the cage.
Ford digs a right hand underneath Kirkez's ribcage. Kirkez let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kirkez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ford, pushing him back against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Ford throws an elbow but misses.
Kirkez drags the fight down to the ground.

Kirkez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ford defends well.
Kirkez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ford is aware though and is defending well.
Ford loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ford postures up.
Kirkez is pulling down on Ford's head. It's preventing any offense from Ford, at least for the moment.
Ford trying to control the position from guard on top but Kirkez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mush Kirkez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kirkez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
