Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Omar Afzal (ranked 3615 p4p, 2889 weight class) and Joe Nas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Nas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Omar Afzal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Nas! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Nas lands. Afzal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nas defends it nicely. Nas throws a counter combo.
Afzal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Afzal tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Afzal has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nas is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
