Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulie Soprano (ranked 3782 p4p, 3547 weight class) and Emilio Morterero (ranked 376 p4p, 364 weight class). Morterero has chosen Tequila Sunrise (Spanish Version) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soprano drops down looking for a counter takedown but Morterero sprawls and moves away.

Morterero has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Morterero lands a left and a right that send Soprano crashing to the mat, dazed. Morterero thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Soprano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Paulie Soprano has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morterero fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Soprano looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Emilio Morterero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morterero throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Soprano crashing down! Soprano tries to stagger back to his feet but Morterero just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Soprano asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
