Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeeJay Kawana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eduardo Yamamoto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to DeeJay Kawana's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eduardo Yamamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DeeJay Kawana! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawana tries for a takedown but Yamamoto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kawana tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The fight stays on the outside here - Kawana looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yamamoto gets the takedown into side control. Kawana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yamamoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yamamoto decides to take the fight back to the feet. Kawana tries for a takedown but Yamamoto circles away easily and Yamamoto counters with a left and a right that stings Kawana. Yamamoto shoots in and bounces Kawana off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Yamamoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yamamoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kawana looking to control.
Yamamoto seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kawana has a closed guard, preventing Yamamoto from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kawana wants to sweep here but Yamamoto controlling him for the moment. Kawana working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yamamoto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yamamoto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kawana is working an open guard so Yamamoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Kawana looks gassed! Yamamoto clinches. Yamamoto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kawana avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kawana lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Yamamoto is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kawana pulls his head out easily. Kawana is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kawana is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yamamoto gets back to full guard.
Kawana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yamamoto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kawana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kawana not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Yamamoto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Yamamoto pushes a forearm under Kawana's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kawana is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
