The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnarsson gets a clinch.
Gunnarsson jumps guard but Books stands there with Gunnarsson around his waist. Gunnarsson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Books manages to break the clinch.
Books throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Books lands with a nice combination. Gunnarsson backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Bjron Gunnarsson has been cut.
Books misses with an uppercut
and Gunnarsson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Books is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gunnarsson struggles to land a body shot inside as Books controls his hands.
Books breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Books looks to land a right hand but Gunnarsson moved out of range.

Books lands a left and a right that send Gunnarsson crashing to the mat, dazed. Books thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheers as Books lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gunnarsson doesn't seem phased though.
Books pounces like a tiger and cracks Gunnarsson with a vicious hook! Gunnarsson is down but not out! Books follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
