Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mikuru Asakura (ranked 2642 p4p, 1969 weight class) and Kim Jung Bin (ranked 212 p4p, 158 weight class). Mikuru Asakura had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikuru Asakura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kim Jung Bin! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung Bin has Asakura up against the cage in a clinch.
Jung Bin prevents a takedown attempt there.
Asakura is trying to trip Jung Bin. He has hold of a leg but Jung Bin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Asakura persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jung Bin has Asakura pulled in close to control his posture. Let's hope that Jung Bin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung Bin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Asakura. Jung Bin is pulling down on Asakura's head. It's preventing any offense from Asakura, at least for the moment.
 That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jung Bin is on top in guard.
Jung Bin looking to pass the guard. Jung Bin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Asakura working for a triangle but Jung Bin defends it easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jung Bin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Asakura looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jung Bin postures up and lands a big shot to Asakura's brow.
Asakura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jung Bin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jung Bin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jung Bin scoring with punches to the head and body. Jung Bin wants to control from the top but Asakura keeps moving.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Asakura is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jung Bin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jung Bin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Asakura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jung Bin is stalling in the full guard. Jung Bin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Asakura knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jung Bin on the ground. Jung Bin landing some decent shots from guard. Jung Bin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jung Bin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jung Bin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jung Bin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jung Bin stands up over Asakura, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung Bin landing with the ground and pound. Jung Bin trying to control the position from guard on top but Asakura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jung Bin scoring with some ground and pound. Jung Bin passes into half guard. Asakura is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jung Bin scores with a couple of nice shots. Asakura is trying to control but can't.
Jung Bin drops an elbow to the side of Asakura's head. Jung Bin looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Asakura on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
 Asakura is rocked! Jung Bin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Oh Asakura is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Asakura is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jung Bin looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jung Bin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Asakura with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ground and pound from Jung Bin.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Asakura is looking to control Jung Bin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Asakura avoid being mounted? Jung Bin lands a big elbow - Asakura is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Jung Bin!
