And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Bone Breaker! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Breaker shoots in for a double leg but Darongo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Darongo closes the distance and clinches. Darongo is trying to pull guard but Breaker turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Darongo jumps guard but Breaker stands there with Darongo around his waist. Darongo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Darongo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Breaker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Darongo is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darongo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Breaker sitting in guard, not really doing much. Breaker wants to pass the guard but Darongo is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Breaker controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Breaker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Darongo's guard. Darongo keeping hold of Breaker's head, controlling as best he can. Breaker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. It looks like Breaker might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Let's hope that Breaker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Darongo controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Darongo tries to get to full guard but Breaker has control of the leg. Breaker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Breaker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Darongo manages to get himself to full guard.

Breaker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Darongo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Breaker tries to land a sweep but no joy. Breaker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
