Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jovanny Ramsey (ranked 3677 p4p, 2655 weight class) and Thomas Schiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jovanny Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Schiff!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schiff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ramsey tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Schiff is in Ramsey's guard.
Schiff stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Schiff looks to land a left hand but Ramsey moved out of range nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Schiff. That snapped Ramsey's head back.
It looks like Jovanny Ramsey has been cut.
Schiff cracks Ramsey with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ramsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Schiff throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ramsey misses with a leg kick.
Schiff misses with a two punch combination.
Ramsey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schiff paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramsey.
Ramsey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ramsey slips a jab and a cross from Schiff.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schiff misses with a few strikes there.
Ramsey is looking to counter the offense by Schiff and move into the clinch.
Schiff throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramsey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Schiff connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ramsey momentarily.
Ramsey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jovanny Ramsey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ramsey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schiff manages to avoid it.
Decent striking displayed by Schiff there.
Schiff fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Ramsey to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Ramsey looks to clinch but Schiff throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Ramsey taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

A determined Thomas Schiff didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
