Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leonel Esperanza (ranked 2272 p4p, 2593 weight class) and Joo Sang Yoo (ranked 189 p4p, 209 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonel Esperanza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joo Sang Yoo!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Esperanza throws a shot to the body.
Esperanza manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yoo on his heels. He'll look to pass Yoo's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Yoo wants to sweep but no luck.

Yoo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Esperanza throws a big elbow that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Esperanza's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Yoo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Esperanza is controlling him.
Esperanza distracts Yoo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Esperanza lands a couple of digs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Esperanza working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Esperanza is working Yoo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Esperanza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yoo on the ground.
Esperanza gets to his feet and stands over Yoo, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Yoo felt that one! Esperanza unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Yoo from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonel Esperanza!
In his post fight interview, Leonel Esperanza started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
