Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Komedor DKasada (ranked 280 p4p, 1649 weight class) and Davon Davis (ranked 38 p4p, 199 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Komedor DKasada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Davon Davis!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis lands a nice hook to DKasada's body. DKasada takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Davis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like DKasada was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
DKasada drives through and clinches with Davis against the cage.
DKasada misses with a punch to the body.
DKasada scores with an uppercut up the middle.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Davis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Davis lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
DKasada lands with a short shot to the head.
Davis throws a punch but it's blocked by DKasada.

Davis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Davis throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
DKasada scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Davon Davis has been cut.
Davis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! DKasada crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Davis - the referee stops the clock and DKasada gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Davis. DKasada manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Davis lands a big head kick that sends DKasada tumbling to the mat! Davis takes a step backwards and waves DKasada back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davis finds DKasada's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! DKasada flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Davis lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure DKasada will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Davon Davis!
A relieved looking Davon Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
