Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wolfric Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mathew Nielsen!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Moon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nielsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Moon drops Nielsen with a beautiful combination! Nielsen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Moon is looking for the KO!
Nielsen is rocked!
It looks like Mathew Nielsen has been cut.
Nielsen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Moon throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nielsen shoots in for a takedown but Moon shows good takedown defense.
Moon pushes Nielsen up against the cage in a clinch.
Moon throws an elbow that misses.
Nielsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moon lands a right hook to the body.
Moon connects with a nice looking jab.
Moon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nielsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Moon finish him?
Moon lands with an overhand left.
Moon lands a lovely overhand right.
Moon connects with a crisp jab.
Moon feints and then cracks Nielsen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nielsen down.
Nielsen seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moon lands with a nice body punch.
Nielsen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wolfric Moon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Moon connects with a single shot there.
Moon moves into the clinch.
Nielsen takes an elbow to the temple.
Moon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nielsen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moon throws a nice looking combination but Nielsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A little jabbing left from Nielsen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Moon jabs Nielsen right on the nose. Nielsen blinks but takes it well.
Nielsen checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nielsen loses concentration momentarily and Moon pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Nielsen crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Moon finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wolfric Moon!
