Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Carisi (ranked 2943 p4p, 3862 weight class) and Immanuel Ali (ranked 297 p4p, 359 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sonny Carisi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Immanuel Ali!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali moves away from the strike by Carisi.

Ali's coach down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ali's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Carisi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Carisi jumps guard but Ali stands there with Carisi around his waist. Carisi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Carisi gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Carisi tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ali is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Carisi buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Carisi!! Carisi is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ali throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Immanuel Ali!
After winning the bout, Immanuel Ali thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
