Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Remii Ralph (ranked 3958 p4p, 1858 weight class) and Nasir Barakat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remii Ralph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nasir Barakat! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ralph waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Barakat. Barakat walks into a jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Barakat shoots for a takedown but Ralph saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ralph missing with a left hand there. Barakat was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Barakat fails with a takedown attempt. Ralph is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Barakat shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ralph as he avoids it easily. Remii Ralph has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nasir Barakat.
Barakat closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ralph is trying to control but can't.
Ralph controlling the position for now.
Barakat is trying to work for a kimura but Ralph is defending well.
Barakat is looking for a kimura but Ralph is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Barakat to get the leverage.
Barakat is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ralph tries to roll over but Barakat keeps him under control.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Ralph wants to improve his position but Barakat is controlling well.

Barakat is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ralph doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barakat.
Barakat seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ralph is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
