Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 5533 p4p, 5192 weight class) and Ryan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lei kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama Said Knock You Out. Frito Lei has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lei looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lei wants to clinch
and Carter counters with a shoot takedown. Lei fights it but they end up in guard.
Lei is looking to stand back up but Carter counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lei.
Carter content to control rather than advance.
Carter passes the guard and advances to mount!
Carter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Carter swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryan Carter!
In defeat, Frito Lei stepped up to the mic, saying 'I need a drink!'.
