Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Groper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ballard Huscarls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ballard Huscarls has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Groper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ballard Huscarls! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Groper closes this distance looking for a takedown but Huscarls circles away. Groper defending well as Huscarls loads up on a big left hand. Groper avoids a punch combination nicely.
Huscarls is looking to clinch. Groper fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huscarls misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Groper looks for a takedown but Huscarls sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Groper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Groper or perhaps it was just good defense by Huscarls which made him look bad. Huscarls throws a hook but Groper blocks it. Huscarls loads up on a big right hand but Groper slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Huscarls throws a head kick but Groper moves out of range.
Huscarls lands with a hook. Groper tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Huscarls throws a right and a left that both miss. Huscarls connects with a good right hand that stumbles Groper. Groper circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Huscarls will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Groper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Groper blocks a jab. Huscarls misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Groper fails to land the takedown. Huscarls misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ballard Huscarls is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Groper showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Huscarls.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Huscarls cracks Groper with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ballard Huscarls dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Groper shoots in looking for a takedown. Huscarls tries to sprawl out of it but Groper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Huscarls manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Horrible takedown by Groper or perhaps it was just good defense by Huscarls which made him look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huscarls misses the jab.

Huscarls throws a looping overhand right but Groper ducks down to avoid it. Ballard Huscarls is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Groper fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Groper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Groper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Groper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Huscarls is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Groper misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Groper looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Groper tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Huscarls struggling a bit here. Groper works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Groper thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huscarls struggling a bit here. Huscarls tries to escape but Groper is in control. Groper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Groper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Huscarls wants to control but Groper postures up. Groper is working to tighten is grip on Huscarls's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Huscarls has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Groper is really squeezing tight and eventually Huscarls passes out! Groper breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
