Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donny Lyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Peppers!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyle misses with a straight left.
Lyle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peppers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lyle stuffs the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Peppers.
Lyle throws the kick towards the body but Peppers avoids it.
Peppers is looking for the big counter here.
Lyle cracks Peppers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Ricky Peppers has been cut.
Lyle scores with a sloppy right hand. Peppers should have avoided that one.
Peppers takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Peppers rushes Lyle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lyle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Peppers has him pressed against the cage.
Lyle wants to break free but Peppers has control.
Peppers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lyle lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Peppers at a distance.
Lyle moves into the clinch successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lyle working hard to break the clinch.
Peppers tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lyle just stands there and leans against the cage.
Donny Lyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Peppers.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Peppers goes for a takedown attempt but Lyle pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lyle throws a hook but Peppers avoids it easily.
Lyle drops Peppers with a beautiful combination! Peppers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lyle is looking for the KO!
Peppers is rocked!
Lyle lands with a big right hook that stumbles Peppers - he's out on his feet here! Lyle follows up with another monster hook that separates Peppers from consciousness! Peppers falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Lyle stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Donny Lyle!
