Starr has chosen Sweet Caroline as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starr staying out of range there.
Starr looks to throw a body kick
enabling Derozan to counter with a crisp jab.
Starr thuds his shin into the meat of Derozan's side.
Starr misses with a wild combination.
Derozan throwing a counter right hand but Starr manages to avoid it.

Sozin Derozan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Derozan loads up on a big right hand but Starr slips the punch.

Derozan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Starr thumps Derozan with a low kick.

and Derozan counters with a nice right hand that sends Starr toppling to the canvas! Starr scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Derozan finish him?!
Starr is rocked!
It looks like Bart Starr has been cut.
Starr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Starr is still on wobbly legs! Can Derozan finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Starr circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Derozan. Starr falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Derozan!
