Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintin Bean (ranked 4360 p4p, 4389 weight class) and Brett Favre (ranked 402 p4p, 403 weight class). Favre is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sand Man. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bean wants it to stay on the feet.
Favre misses with the combination.
Favre throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bean takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Favre scores with a nice right hand.
Favre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Favre tries for a takedown but Bean circles away easily
and Bean counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bean.
Favre takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Brett Favre has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bean darts in and clinches Favre up against the cage.

Favre lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Favre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bean wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Bean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Favre sprawls well. Favre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bean gets slowly back to his feet.
No joy there for Favre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bean shoots in looking for a takedown. Favre tries to sprawl out of it but Bean keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Favre manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bean throws a body shot but no joy.
A jab from Favre finds it's way through Bean's defenses.
It looks like Quintin Bean has been cut.
Favre looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bean swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bean takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bean gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bean jumps guard but Favre stands there with Bean around his waist. Bean gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Favre tries to bum rush Bean with a series of wild strikes but Bean uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And Bean counters with a quick kick to the body but Favre blocks it.

Favre throws a quick inside leg kick.
Favre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bean is breathing heavily.

Favre lands a nice looking body kick.
Favre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bean is looking to counter the offense by Favre and move into the clinch.
Bean shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Favre but Favre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Favre swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Favre instigates a clinch.
Bean has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Favre after a bit of a struggle.

Bean is trying to pull guard but Favre turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Favre has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Favre creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bean's defenses.
Favre pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Favre moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Favre pushes Bean up against the cage in a clinch.
Bean has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Favre uses from the top position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Favre gets to his feet. Bean looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Bean's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
That kick from Favre tenderised Bean's leg. Bean is trying to keep his angry face on.
Favre cracks Bean with a good jab.
Favre circles away from the clinch attempt.
Favre is looking to slow Bean down with leg kicks.
Favre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Favre fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Favre fails to land with a series of punches.
Favre fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bean looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Favre instigates a clinch.
Favre is pushing Bean up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Favre has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Favre tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bean takes a shot to the head.

Bean goes for a takedown attempt but Favre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bean misses with a jab, cross combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Favre lands a jab.
Bean is rocked!
Favre shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bean eats them both and turns towards Favre to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Oh Bean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Favre fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Bean out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Brett Favre!
Brett Favre gave a mention to Warpath Wear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
