Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry McKockiner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, August Mcmahon! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKockiner closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcmahon's guard. McKockiner works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mcmahon tries to kick McKockiner off but McKockiner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McKockiner lands a nice short elbow. McKockiner sitting and controlling from the half guard. Mcmahon is trying to stand up here but McKockiner is controlling him well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McKockiner connects with a nice short shot to Mcmahon's temple. McKockiner controlling the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKockiner is thwarting Mcmahon's attempts to control the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McKockiner winds up and cracks Mcmahon with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Nice strikes from McKockiner there. McKockiner scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKockiner frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. McKockiner connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McKockiner controlling his opponent. Mcmahon looks winded!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. McKockiner looking to finish Mcmahon with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mcmahon! McKockiner working away from the top, dropping strikes. McKockiner controlling the position easily from mount. McKockiner scores with a couple of good head shots there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mcmahon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
McKockiner controlling his opponent.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. McKockiner working the ground and pound effectively.
McKockiner unloading with bombs! Mcmahon is in a horrible position here. McKockiner smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
McKockiner landing punches. McKockiner scoring with strikes but Mcmahon is staying in there. McKockiner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. McKockiner controlling the position easily from mount.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcmahon in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mcmahon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. McKockiner lands a couple of good shots and Mcmahon has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
 Mcmahon is rocked! What can Mcmahon do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Mcmahon is still in real trouble! Can McKockiner finish him? McKockiner scores with punches and elbows. A helpless look comes across Mcmahon 's face. He knows he's trapped as McKockiner lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
